AW16 Coat Wishlist

Its been so long since I did a wishlist! I'm on the hunt for my winter coat and these are are the items I've put in my save basket and I thought I would share it with y'all to give you some winter fashion inspo. I'm surprised I don't do monthly wishlists as I'm always window shopping online and adding bits to my online basket (let me know if you would like a monthly wishlist, I could easily do one). Here is what I've been after recently and you can probably sense a theme, so apologies for repeating similar items.

Blue Fur Trimmed Parker (top left): I saw Chiara Ferragni wearing a similar one on her instagram and I automatically love whatever she wears, so when I saw this I was really charmed by it. I love a traditional parker and used to live in one years ago, so it could be time for an upgrade. The blue fur is a big statement for such a casual jacket and I really like that about it.

Faux Fur Coat:  These are everywhere! Thinking about it I probably wouldn't get a pale pink one but this seems the most popular colour on initial internet searches- but I know there are other colour options if pink isn't for you. I feel like these are popular as one- they are warm.Two- fur is just instantly luxurious and rock'n'roll. An easy look to wear.

Velvet Military Jacket: Ever since I saw Gigi Hadid front Tommy Hillfiger's SS17 campaign, I'm drawn to chunky roll neck sweaters, my baker boy cap and 'that' military jacket (which I think you can actually buy on Asos). Embroidered military jackets are quite hard to find, they don't stick around long on the high street, so if you see one you desperately want, snap it up!

Red Fur Trimmed Parker: A cheaper alternative to the first one. The fur looks way more vibrant so if you want to make a statement and save a few bucks- get this one!

Black Swing Coat:: Black coats remind me of school and I'm never really drawn to them, but they are super easy to style, so I can 100% see the appeal. I liked the leather peter pan collar and pocket trimmings as a subtle detail. I also thought this one could look quite cute and girly worn with winter dresses.

Colour Block Coat: This one reminds of a coat I saw years ago on Asos, which I never bought and still regret to this day. A simple slim fitting coat but with opposing colours. I thought was the perfect definition of girly and edgy and also timeless, I expect my coats to last a long time and get a lot wear out of them.
