Bloggers Ball 2016

I'm probably the last of the blogger bunch to write about the #bloggersball and I really hope you're not bored of them by now, but I just had the best time! And not because the event itself was fab, but I got to re-connect with my old gal pal Emma. Emma actually hooked me up with a ticket in the first place and it was so nice to re-connect and gossip... and drink. I also saw a few other familiar faces from who I met last year and it was such a lovely positive environment. Crowded though! There were a few brands I didn't get to see because of over-crowding, hence why I didn't take any pictures (another bad blogging habit of mine) but there are tones of other blogs that go into more detail than mine; just search the hashtag #bloggersball. Emma's blog will linked below and you can read about her experience to, plus she actually took pictures ;)

Due to the title of the event and the word 'ball', I knew I wanted to wear a dress but having heard that you can dress as casual or as glam as you like, I found this little number in Zara (also linked below) which I had to fight for- not literally! But when me and Emma were in deep discussions on what to wear, she had her eye on the same dress too haha! (Sorry again) The tropical top half I thought was a nice contrast with the silver metallic skirt and was the perfect glam day dress- and metallic pleats are on trend this season too. I chose flat comfy sandles to, because it was essentially a day event.

The bloggersball was hosted by Scarlett Dixon and props to her, and her team (I think she as a team, she cant possibly do it on her own?!!)  for organising such a big thing, it was such fun and just reminded me of how lovely a community the blogging world is. As I said earlier, I was able to re-connect with the lovely Emma, who I actually lived with at uni; and talk all things blog related. It's made me look forward to expand my blogging circles a bit more and get more involved in the community.

If anyone has the opportunity to attend an event by Scarlett, I would 100% recommend it- She rocks!
