Winter OOTD | Jumpers and Dresses

If you're living here in the UK, you would've noticed that its been a pretty mild winter, great now but I'm pretty sure we're due a freezing April. These pics were shot way back in November but on the day I didn't feel the need to wear a coat. Throwing a jumper over a dress or anything really is an easy idea and proper 'lazy girl' dressing. I hate the idea of buying clothes that are purely seasonal, as I own a lot of dresses that have thin spaghetti straps, so obviously couldn't wear in winter but are still too nice to stow away for half the year. By teaming it with a jumper (and some thermals underneath if you so wish) offers an alternative if you're bored of jeans.

I went with my patterned seahorse dress and nude silk and cashmere sweater with an open back. Top Shopping Tip: I always hunt for luxury sweaters in the winter sales. Nude is also a refreshing light colour for the colder months, whereas most people wear darker colours. Nude or pale colours are usually associated with Spring. This outfit can also be teamed with ankle or biker boots.
