Birthday OOTD: No. 1

It was my birthday a few weeks ago and I (naturally) wanted to show off what I wore :)

So in looking for what I wanted to wear I saw this stunning hair comb and therefore had to create an ENTIRE outfit based around this pink pretty netting #girllogic. Now I'll be honest the model obviously wears it 1000 times better than me but I'm really not sure if it sits on my head quite right. I have a small head and this was just a bit too long for me and I couldn't quite adhere it to the front, but thought it still looks nice either way. Also I have a weakness for putting pretty things in my hair :)

I share my birthday with a friend and in recent years I've sort of been able to celebrate my birthday twice, so expect a part 2 post real soon- hence the title. I had a specific look I wanted to go for on one event but was a bit clueless for the second. I saw this dress from Zara and decided it was quite lady like and grown up (reflecting on my age you see) and I never normally go for pink but I liked the pattern and (more importantly!) it went with my head band :)

Glittery espadrilles also from Zara  are having a moment and are a staple 'summer shoe', I want these to be my main shoes for Japan so decided to debut them for a bit and can confirm: they are comfortable. I also added a ring to my little collection, the blue 'heart of the ocean' one on my forefinger was given to me by my BFF and its not somthing I would of thought to get myself but it fits in nicely with all the others and will have a sentimental value to me for very long time :)
