vienna

So this concludes my mini European adventure and I think Vienna was my fave! Even though I wasn't expecting it to be. Apart from more rain it was amazing! There are soo many palaces and grand buildings in a really small amount of space, imagine lots of Buckingham palaces all grouped together. We first visited Schonbrunn Palace which was incredible and I learnt a lot about the history of Vienna there (I'm a bit of a ammature history buff) and that was really interesting. It took us a good 15 minutes to walk just to one end of the garden haha!

The next big highlight for me was the Vienna opera house, I loved it! And I don't even like opera (sorryyyy) But if you like me, don't care too much for opera, you can still enjoy it. They have a different show on every night (mental) so even though you can walk around and see the stage, a lot of the stage managers and builders are taking down the previous nights set and all ready building the new one.... and this happens every day... I was stunned. The rooms are soo decadent and there are statues of the 7 muses all over the place to constantly inspire everyone, they have tunnels underneath for their army of costumes as they can't be kept on sight. It was soo impressive that I would actually consider seeing an opera there one day.

I hopefully won't have to wait too long for my next European trip as I absolutely loved it :)
